Heartland Sprinklers
Heartland Sprinklers is a family-owned irrigation company located in Austin, Texas. At the beginning of my internship, I was assigned to create daily Google Business Profile posts for them.

The Challenge and Process
To be honest with you, I have never designed posts for a Google Business Profile before!
Being assigned this daily task intimidated me. When I started making posts, I wasn’t as confident in what I was creating. I always dealt with creative block whenever it was time to create new posts, and I would repeat the same format over and over.
To get out of my creative block, I put together a moodboard to explore different layout ideas and asked myself: What did I gravitate towards? What did I not like? What grabs attention more?
With this moodboard, I began experimenting with different layouts and challenged myself to determine what could work well with Heartland Sprinklers’ brand.
Outcome
As I designed more posts, repetition became an important part of my process. Creating layouts daily helped me understand what worked and what didn’t. Over time, I became more confident and began to enjoy using bento-style grids to organize content in a clean and engaging way.
This project helped me grow as a designer by pushing me outside of my comfort zone. I learned how to design efficiently, stay consistent with branding, and create engaging layouts. Most importantly, I learned how repetition and daily practice can improve both creativity and confidence.
